আমার অন্তিম বা শেষ সময়!

আজ আমি মারা গেলে হয়তো তুমি খুব কাঁদবে!
এমনকি আত্নীয়-স্বজন সবাই......
যে আমার শত্রু ছিলো সেও আমাকে দেখতে আসবে!
বাড়ি ভরা কত মানুষ, কত হৈ চৈ থাকবে,
কিন্তু আমি আর বলবো না....

মা, এত হৈ চৈ ভালো লাগছে না,

বাড়ি থেকে চলে গেলাম,
একটু পর ফিরে আসবো....
কিছু মানুষ পানি গরম দিচ্ছে আর কিছু মানুষ খাটিয়া আনতে গেল।

একদল গেল কবর খুড়তে।

তখন হয়তো আর বলবো না....

মা, অমুক মারা গেছে, কবর খুড়তে গেলাম।

এক সময় বাঁশ ও কাটা হলো।

বাড়ির আঙিনায় এনে বাঁশগুলো টুকরা টুকরা করে কাটছে।

পানিও গরম হলো গোসল দেওয়ার জন্য...

এমনকি কবরও খুড়া হয়ে গেলো.....

কিছু মানুষ আমাকে এক কোণে নিয়ে একটা মশারী টাঙিয়ে গোসল দিবে...

তখন উঠে আর বলবো না পানিটা বেশ গরম হয়েছে,

আর একটু ঠাণ্ডা করে নাও....
.
গোসল করানোর পর আমাকে কিছু কাপড় দিয়ে মুড়িয়ে ফেলা হবে....

তখন আর বলবো না মুখের কাপড়টা একটু সরিয়ে দাও,

নিশ্বাস নিতে খুব কষ্ট হচ্ছে....
.
একসময় কান্নাকাটি বেশ বেড়ে গেলো,
কারণ এখন আমাকে মাটি দেবার জন্য নিয়ে যাবে।

এমনকি কাধে উঠিয়েও ফেললো।

তারপর সেই ঘরটার সামনে দিয়ে নিয়ে যাবে,

যেই ঘরে আমি নাকি সারাটা জীবন কাটিয়েছি......
একসময় রাস্তায় আনা হবে।

মা জননী পিছে পিছে এসে খুব কাঁদবে কিন্তু আর বলতে পারবো না...

মা, অমুক জায়গায় যাচ্ছি,

চিন্তা করো না একটু পরই ফিরে আসছি....

অতঃপর সবাইকে বিদায় দিয়ে আমাকে নিয়ে হাটা দিবে কবরস্থান এর দিকে,

পাশে শত শত মানুষও হাটবে....

কেমন হবে সেই কষ্টের মুহূর্তগুলি.....
এমন করে তো আমিও অনেক বার আসছিলাম অন্য একজন এর লাশ নিয়ে
আজ সবাই আমাকে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে চিরবিদায় এর দেশে রেখে আসতে....
কত মানুষকে মৃত বলে ডাকতাম, আজ সবাই আমাকেই মৃত বলে ডাকছে...
.
এইভাবে কিছুক্ষণ হাটার পর আমাকে কবরস্থানের এক পাশে নামাবে

কারণ আমার জন্য সবাই নামাজ পরবে (মানে জানাজার নামাজ)

এইভাবে আমিও কতজনের নামাজ পড়ছিলাম আজ সবাই আমার জন্য পড়বে....

একসময় নামাজ পড়া শেষ হবে আমাকে আবার কাধে করে কবরের পাশে আনা হবে....
তারপর কিছু মানুষ হাতে হাতে ধরে আমাকে

কবরে নামিয়ে দিবে যা আমিও কিছু মানুষকে এইভাবে নামাতে দেখেছি,

আজ সবাই আমাকে নামাচ্ছে...

একসময় সবাই হাতে হাতে ধরে আমাকে কবরে নামিয়ে ফেললো,

ঠিকঠাক মত শরীরটা ভাজ করে শুইয়ে দিলো।

আহ এইতো আমার পৃথিবী থেকে বিদায় নেয়া।
চোখ জোড়া খুলে পৃথিবীটাকে শেষবারের মত দেখতেও পারছি না....

দেখতেও পারলাম না কে কে এসেছে আমাকে মাটি দিতে।
অবশেষে আমাকে বাঁশ আর পাটি দিয়ে মাটি দিয়ে দিলো...
কি অন্ধকার কবরের ভিতর,

না পারবো মাকে ডাক দিতে,

না পারবো কবর ভেঙ্গে বেরিয়ে আসতে......
আহহ এইতো আমাদের জীবন....
জন্মের সময় কত আদর নিয়ে দুনিয়াতে এসেছিলাম....
আবার মরার সময়ও কত আদর নিয়ে বিদায় নিলাম.....

অতঃপর আমাকে দাফন করে সবাই বাড়ির দিকে রওনা দিবে।
সবাই চলে যাবে, শুধু ফিরবো না আমি...
বাসায় গিয়ে আর মাকে বলবো না,

মা,
আজ ওটা রান্না করো, ওটা খেতে ইচ্ছে করছে...
বাবাকে বলবো না,

বাবা, কিছু টাকা দাও, কলেজে যাবো....
বড় বোনটার সাথে আর মারামারি করা হবে না,

কারণ আমি চলে এসেছি না ফেরার দেশে...

হয়তো আর বন্ধুদের বলবো না,

দোস্ত, অমুক মেয়েটাকে আমি পটিয়ে ফেলেছি।

কেননা সেদিন থেকে আমি পোকা মাকড় আর মাটির খাবার হয়ে গেছি....

যে নাকি আমাকে নিজের জীবনের চাইতে বেশি ভালোবাসতো....
কারণ আজ আমি ভিন্ন জগতের লোক।
